Fred and Rula Jarrah Announce Friends of OC Food Giveaway For Orange County, CA Families.

Orange County, California-based philanthropist Fred and Rula Jarrah of Signature Design Center have announced the launch of the Friends of OC Food Giveaway aimed toward providing financial quality food to families, in the Orange County Area.

Friends of OC Food Giveaway

The Friends of OC Food Giveaway is set up to help families in need living in the Orange County area recently affected by the economic downturn. (ie, layoff, medical bills or other circumstances.)

Requirements: You must have an Orange County address on your drivers license/CA ID. You must be a parent of children under 19 or a senior over 62 years of age. Most important you must have in past 6 months experienced financial hardship related to the economy, please explain in your essay.

• 1 short essay. Essay #1: Please explain why you are in need of assistance due to hardships caused by the economy, minimum of 500 words. Please submit word documents, pdf files or text in your email.

Award: 10 Families will be awarded $125 in groceries as a one time benefit created to assist struggling families. Only food purchases No Alcohol purchases allowed.

Deadline: Awardees will be selected May 15^th, 2009 with a deadline of May 8^th, 2009 for applications to be emailed. Incomplete email applications will not be considered so please read instructions carefully. No phone calls or showroom visits please.
